The Decline of the West
Economic Decline
- Over-indebtedness and gradual reduction of the dollar as the global reserve currency. The Euro seems even more fragile, exacerbated by the economic imbalance between EU members.
- Reduction of the contribution of Western countries to the global economy. Beyond GDP percentages, the West's contribution also decreases in terms of innovation. One must look at the technological level reached (for the worse rather than the better, but that is precisely our subject) in China or Singapore to realize the technological lag in the West.
- Massive deindustrialization for ecological reasons (CO2 will be emitted elsewhere...) and economic reasons (energy cost). Europe no longer produces!
- However, if we import most of our energy and most of our goods, what is left for us?
Educational Decline
- Declining school results, general level of culture and education of the youth increasingly weak.
- Unlimited access for young people to media, video games and propaganda, limiting their learning capacity, creativity, and generating anxiety.
Moral Decline
- The values of freedom and democracy in the West are still held high... But respect for these values is no longer convincing internationally.
- The fundamental values of Western society are challenged by self-destructive ideologies (e.g. Growth or decline, Wokeism).
- Naivety of a part of the population who imagine a sort of moral superiority of the West, completely blind to the fact that we are engaged in an international war of influence where this moral superiority, even if it existed, would have no interest.
Political Decline
- Political debate is no longer possible within Western "democracies", a single voice repeats the ready-made thinking, and the system does not allow alternatives to exist politically.
- The international influence of the West is eroded by non-compliance with international rules of the game and its constant interference in national issues. Africa, rich in raw materials, is clearly turning towards the East while Europe could have played a leading role.
- Finally, within the West, Europe is completely dependent on US military power and unable to exist internationally (see below).
Demographic Decline
- The Western population is aging and sick (obesity, diabetes, cancers...).
- A high proportion of the population has become unfit or poorly motivated for work.
- The "great replacement" is very real in many European cities. While it partially compensates for the fall in birth rates, it does so at the cost of deconstructing national identities and increasing tensions.
The particular case of Europe
If these different points generally apply to the West, Europe is in an even worse situation because it has abandoned all sovereignty.
- Its economy is sacrificed to the war against Russia. The destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines by the USA permanently condemns Europe to expensive energy, further reducing its competitiveness and impoverishing its population.
- Politically, European authorities, undemocratic by definition, act in the interest of the United States and the system in general, not Europe (e.g. contracts for vaccines, involvement in the Ukrainian conflict).
- Militarily, Europe is occupied by dozens of American bases and completely dependent on NATO.
- In the media, all online platforms are actively controlled by American government agencies. There can therefore be no media defending a truly European path.
- Culturally, it is completely subservient to American production.
